Gerardo is an experienced landscape architect focused on multidisciplinary complex projects where infrastructure, urban design and landscape architecture are seamlessly designed and integrated. At SvN, he is primarily involved with the public realm design coordination and parkland dedication strategies for transit-oriented communities along the Ontario Line. Gerardo also champions public realm and open space planning design for the Toronto Rail Deck Reset, several masterplans and revitalization projects across Canada and Mexico. Before his leadership role at SvN, Gerardo worked for the City of Vaughan in driving its park developments. He has also worked for several award-winning landscape architecture and architecture firms. Gerardo received his graduate degree in landscape architecture from the University of Toronto and his undergraduate degree in architecture from the Universidad de las Américas - Puebla in Mexico.
