Associate Quan Thai delivers keynote lecture as Waterloo Architecture Emerging Practitioner Fellow

Join Associate Quan Thai, The University of Waterloo School of Architecture's inaugural recipient of the Emerging Practitioner fellowship, for his keynote lecture [en]act as part of the Fall 2023 Arriscraft Canada Brick Speaker Series: From the Field.

Quan's work strives to develop innovative architectural responses through socially, environmentally, and technologically informed design. His talk will explore how he navigates his varied interests in practice and academia as an early career practitioner, driven by his broader interests in engaging in and facilitating positive community impact.

Upon his appointment O'Donovan Director Maya Przybylski noted "I'm thrilled Quan is the inaugural recipient of the Emerging Practitioner fellowship at Waterloo Architecture. Quan's experience, in which he wholistically considers design practice, teaching and community action, captures the intent of the fellowship perfectly. I'm looking forward to seeing his impact on our community over the next two years."
