Vivian started her architectural career in New York over 15 years ago, followed by several years in Toronto and Vancouver. Her career path has led her to work on numerous workplace, institutional, and mixed-use projects, as well as interiors. She has extensive experience working with user groups and coordinating intricate technical needs. Vivian has a well-balanced approach to the design and technical execution of conceptual ideas. She brings a keen ability to deliver a client’s vision from the planning of a project through all phases of design and construction. Vivian was integral to the realization of the UBC tə šxʷhəleləm̓ s tə k̓ʷaƛ̓kʷəʔaʔɬ Student Residence project, where she led design, consultant coordination efforts, as well as detailed interior design and furniture selection. 

Vivian’s graduate thesis was the recipient of the Heather M. Reisman Gold Medal, as well as the Canadian Architect Student Award of Excellence. Her professional projects have been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Governor General’s Medal award-winning Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) Campus in Waterloo, Ontario.
