Taylor is an Intern Architect with professional experience on projects at various scales in Toronto, New York and Germany. He has a deep interest in design and social justice and how empowering stakeholders in the design process creates inclusive and vibrant public spaces. At SvN, Taylor is a vital Ontario Line design team member, a significant subway expansion project in Toronto to improve regional mobility and create better transit-oriented communities across the city. Before joining SvN, he worked on complex buildings that included courthouses and hospitals. Taylor received an undergraduate degree in philosophy from Western University and a Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University, where his graduate work focused on race and space in Detroit, examining the reproduction of settler colonial wasteland ideology.
