Shaun’s experience in project management, planning, design and construction spans over two decades. In his most recent position as an Associate at Sweeny&Co Architects, Shaun has led teams on multiple large to medium-scaled transit-oriented, mixed-use, commercial, residential, and institutional projects. He successfully led the design and technical development for a number of mixed-use Transit-Oriented Communities totalling in excess of 10,000 residential units and 8M square feet planned above existing rail infrastructure. Shaun’s skills and versatility are exemplified in his ability to navigate and respond to complex planning, programmatic, sustainable and technical requirements of a project, whilst providing engaging solutions that convey an expressive clarity, thoughtful resolution and innovation. His portfolio is robust with projects of various scales across private, public, and institutional sectors that have been recognized and won awards internationally. Shaun’s experience has led to roles as a guest speaker at
TMU School of Urban and Regional Planning (SURP) and BOMA Toronto events.
