Reva’s professional interests and experience lie in the development approval process, community engagement, community planning, and the development of low-income housing. Prior to joining SvN, Reva worked at Toronto Community Housing (TCH) on the implementation of North America’s largest public housing revitalization, Regent Park, where her passion for urban issues and affordable housing deepened. Reva also worked at the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT), coordinating provincial development appeals. There she developed a first-hand understanding of the development approval process on both a provincial and municipal level.
Reva holds a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University and a Masters of Environmental Studies (Planning) degree from York University. Her areas of research are in housing development, affordable housing design solutions, student housing, and community engagement design and practice.
