
Pino Di Mascio
Pino is one of Canada’s most accomplished and respected urban planning consultants. Over the course of his career, he has worked with numerous municipalities, developers, institutions, and non-profit and public-sector landowners. As a Principal at SvN, he focuses strategically on identifying and achieving enhanced environmental and social outcomes throughout the development process. His extensive experience managing complex projects has established him as a leader in large-scale, impact-focused development through his clear understanding of how to realize the potential of real estate assets for both private interests and the greater public good.
Throughout his 30-year career, Pino has shaped communities all across North America.. His revitalization work spans high-growth areas like Boston, Toronto, and Vancouver, and cities facing economic challenges including Detroit, Providence, and Youngstown. He led a number of initiatives ranging from downtown revitalization to beautification and parks/open space strategies. Before joining SvN, Pino served as Head of Impact Strategy and Delivery at Dream, helping execute the company's impact pathways across the Dream Impact Trust portfolio. He played a critical role in Dream's successful bids for two major development projects: LeBreton Flats in Ottawa and Quayside in Toronto, both designed as net-zero carbon, mixed-income communities with significant affordable housing and supportive community services.
Pino currently serves on the Board of the Centre for Social Innovation and previously served on the Parkdale Neighbourhood Land Trust Board.
