Urban Designer
Paulina is an urban designer with experience ranging from large-scale urban design projects such as the Markham Centre and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Secondary Plans, Mississauga Complete Streets, and a botanical garden and two mega-parks located within the greenbelt master plan for the City of Cuenca-Ecuador. She has experience working as part of an international team at the National University of Education, using the Reggio Emilia method to design a public school. Paulina is interested in creating sustainable urban and architectural projects to shape safe, friendly, and flexible cities that adapt to rapid growth and are environmentally sustainable. She received her undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Azuay in Ecuador and a Master in Urban Design from the University of Toronto, where she received the Jeffrey A. Stinson Urban Design Award and two outstanding student scholarships.
