Morgan Quinn

Landscape Architect, Geologist

MLA, MSc, HBSc, PGeo, OALA

Morgan has successfully demonstrated his design acumen and management experience on several landscape architecture projects ranging in scale from mixed-use and large-scale remediation to complex infrastructure interventions. SvN project work includes the Ontario Line, Toronto's ambitious extension of its transit system; the Salinas Bahamas Master Plan and Nature Reserve; and a net-zero carbon framework for the Polo Park mixed-use redevelopment in Winnipeg. During his career in the mineral exploration and mining industry, he liaised with First Nation communities, reviewed projects for venture capitalists and managed several exploration campaigns. This experience gave Morgan invaluable insight into the complex interactions between environmental, social, and economic concerns that impact significant development projects. His previous exposure to resource extraction inspired him to transition into landscape architecture, enabling him to apply his education and experience to projects that positively affect the greatest number of people. Morgan has an undergraduate degree in earth sciences from Dalhousie University and a graduate degree in geology from the University of Toronto. He received his Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto and continues his membership as a geologist with Professional Geoscientists Ontario.
