Mike is an urban designer with over two decades of experience preparing community plans for downtowns, waterfronts, campuses, infill and greenfield neighbourhoods. He works at the intersection of planning, built form, transportation, urban ecology and public realm design to create integrated urban frameworks that foster human and ecological health, including significant transit-oriented communities and hubs. Mike's work is framed around extensive public and stakeholder consultation processes. His design solutions balance the diverse viewpoints of municipalities and public officials, agencies, ratepayers, and business representatives to create pragmatic, implementable and flexible guiding frameworks. Mike has supported the community visioning process by preparing master plans, design guidelines, and visualizations.
