Mariella has over a decade of experience in designing housing and commercial buildings in Italy and Canada. She has been involved in a range of projects of different sizes and types, for both new constructions and renovations. Mariella worked as Project Architect in the renovation of several apartment buildings in the North York area, while working for Kave Architects, an architectural office located in Toronto. She previously worked in Yellowknife, NT, where she worked on a Sportsplex Complex and a Long Term Facility, both located in the community of Behchoko.
Her professional experience began in 2010, when after her Master degree in Architecture awarded by Politecnico di Bari she worked as an architect for AT Studio in Barletta, Italy. The office specialized in social housing and renovation of historical buildings, such as a bell tower in Bitetto, Italy, and an industrial building in Barletta, Italy, built in the early 1900.
