Lucy is a registered professional planner with experience in both public and private sector work. Her expertise in planning and urban design projects ranges from large-scale master plans and secondary plan studies to site-specific development approvals and due diligence exercises. In recent years she has developed extensive experience in policy development and approvals work for transit-oriented development projects, driven by her desire to contribute towards sustainable city-building. Lucy also creates and implements public consultation strategies where she draws upon her strong communication and facilitation skills. She holds a Master of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto and an undergraduate degree from McGill University, where her research focused on investigating "missing middle" housing and planning for community services and facilities in rapidly densifying neighbourhoods. Lucy is a member of the Ontario Professional Planning Institute (OPPI) and the Canadian Institute of Planning (CIP).
