Laura is a charismatic thinker with a deep understanding of business strategy, the creative process and complex operations underpinning successful design-related companies. Leading the business growth strategy at SvN, she has over two decades of design management experience, shaping creative firms with a global reach. Laura has led the organizational structure and business operations in various sectors, including software, advertising and environmental design. At SvN, she is a key player in driving the firm's identity and corporate strategy through effective marketing and business development initiatives. Laura is also extending the firm's commitment to client service and delivery excellence in critical markets across North America and Latin America, notably in the transit, housing and urban design industries. Laura has an undergraduate degree in design management from Toronto Metropolitan University and is a member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD). She regularly speaks at conferences and workshops and has participated in mentorship programs through the Women in Leadership network. Laura participates on numerous boards and was recently appointed to the Management Committee of the Urban Land Institute's (ULI) Toronto chapter, where she is the co-chair of its Outreach Committee.
