Kevin is an urban planner with extensive experience in planning, local economic development, social entrepreneurship and building operations. With a specific interest in integrated transit-oriented development, he is deeply committed to transitioning our cities toward a low-carbon future and developing sustainable and socially-inclusive communities. At SvN, Kevin is the planning lead for some of the studio's most significant projects focusing on large-scale, mixed-use transit-oriented development, including the Scarborough subway extension, the Ontario Line and planning approvals for the Rail Deck District. A skilled project manager, he embraces the complexities inherent in each planning project, applying a strategic and inclusive approach to his work. Before SvN, Kevin held positions at the Toronto-based non-profit Centre for Social Innovation and senior management roles at his family-run facility services company, Hurley Corporation. Previous planning experience includes master planning, campus planning, planning policy and development approvals.
