Kaining Peng is an Intern Architect with professional experience encompassing a wide range of project types. His design interests lie at the intersection of spatial experience, material tectonics and technological innovation. Kaining's design methodology begins with linking architectural ideas with context and striving to formulate meaningful spatial solutions through rigorous design research. He also enjoys taking a lead role when working with industrial partners on innovative boundary-pushing design projects. Kaining received his Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto. He has worked internationally in China, the United States and Canada at leading firms such as gh3*, SOM, NADAAA, and Vector Architects. Enjoying the role of educator, Kaining teaches at the Ontario College of Art and Design University (OCADU) and has organized and led several design workshops worldwide.
