Jina is a licensed architect and NCIDQ certified interior designer with over 9 years of combined experience in architecture and interior design. She has led the design and worked on implementation of several interior architecture projects. Her approach to design ensures a broad-based perspective, where design decisions are thoughtfully evaluated based on its potential contribution to the end-user, design process, and client's goals. She has experience in all phases of design and construction, coordinating the efforts of contractors, engineering and government agencies. Prior to SvN, she worked globally on a diverse range and scale of projects from residential, hospitality, corporate, to institutional, healthcare, and master planning. Her desire to grow an understanding of architecture’s role in society led her to develop a thesis which investigates the politics, policies, and processes in urban developments that ultimately affect and shape the urban form. Jina received her Master of Architecture from University of Toronto. She is the recipient of Steelcase Canada Sustainable Design Award and a Gold Medalist in the Regional Skills Canada Challenge Competition, Architectural CADD.
