Hugo is an architectural designer with professional experience in Mexico, the United States and Canada. He believes in architecture with a social impact that responds to its unique culture and context. At SvN, Hugo has collaborated on two large-scale, multi-use developments, including 39 Newcastle, a project with commercial and residential uses integrating a train station. Other projects include the Sherway Master Plan on a 150,000-square-meter site in Toronto and the Ontario Line. Hugo has held academic positions as a sessional BIM and Revit architecture instructor. His areas of expertise include programming, design, visualization, project management, BIM coordination and modelling, code compliance, development of construction documents, budget compliance and construction administration. Several of his projects have received awards, many with LEED® designations. Hugo holds a professional degree in Architecture from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Mexico, and is a certified LEED® Green Associate and Revit Professional.
