Hamza is a designer and OAA Intern Architect. He holds a Bachelors in Industrial Design from Emily Carr University as well as a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Toronto where he was the recipient of the Paul Oberman Travel scholarship.
Hamza has over 10 years of design experience in making and participating in furniture, ceramics, exhibit design, and architecture projects. Prior to joining SVN, he was working on mix-use residential projects at Teeple Architects. At RDHA, he participated in a joint venture project with OMA for a renovation and addition of the 100-year-old Fitzgerald building for the University of Toronto. Hamza has also worked on exhibit design and museum interiors during his time at Weatherston Bruer Associates, from the Museum of Wonders in Reykjavik, Iceland, and an Evolution Gallery at the University of Michigan.
