Crystal is an Intern Architect and Designer with a Master of Architecture from Carleton University, where she received the Design Distinction Award for her thesis on protest in public spaces. She has a strong interest in exploring the production of design evidence, relating to the architectural and urban environments and its relationship to social demonstrations. Crystal’s passion and interest for design are ingrained in the opportunity to make inclusive and engaging spaces.
She endeavors to develop multi-disciplinary techniques to inform all aspects of the design process complemented through her prior experiences ranging from interior design, urban design, and architecture. Prior to joining SvN, Crystal has gained various professional and academic experiences primarily in Toronto, but also in Hong Kong, Sweden, Israel/Palestine, and Italy. In her current role at SvN, Crystal aspires to further advance her abilities and knowledge of design for all built and natural spaces.
