Aziza is an intern architect at SvN. Before joining the firm, she gained experience at Atelier RZLBD, working on various stages of design of infill houses in Toronto. She has also contributed to the research, production and implementation of a parametric concrete formwork at MBELabs, in Halifax.

Aziza holds a degree in Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University, where she has been invited to present her academic research to graduate students. Her thesis research focused on the evolution of rhetorical spaces of power and memory in the post-Soviet Uzbekistan both from an urban design and architectural perspective. Her response reflected on the erasure and replacement of the collective memory through the destruction of the city fabric and abstraction of the traditional forms of architecture in the post-Soviet “Orient.”
