Andrea specializes in the planning, design and construction of award-winning institutional projects across Ontario, including Lazaridis Hall at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo and the Centennial College Library and Academic Building in Toronto. She has worked with various institutional and commercial clients and has been instrumental in delivering large-scale mixed-use buildings in Ontario and across Canada. This cumulative experience with multiple project types has led to Andrea's current specialization in the planning and delivery of Transit-Oriented Communities (TOCs) for major transportation expansion projects in Ontario. She works closely with transit authorities, developers, and inter-governmental agencies to address the need for additional investment and intensification at each station area--sites requiring infrastructure planning to support multiple modes of transportation and the development of complete communities for its future residents. As an architect interested in urban design and planning, Andrea begins each project by considering its existing context and the particulars of its site. As Senior Associate, she has been instrumental in unlocking the development potential for several urban locations across the city of Toronto for her clients.
