Ana Paula holds a Master’s in Urban Development Planning from the University College of London, and a degree in Architecture from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Her graduate thesis was focused on exploring opportunities to develop a socially just and sustainable transport system for the Regional Railway Mexico-Toluca based on the theory of Transit-Oriented Developments.

With more than eight years of experience in the field, she has been involved in residential, mixed-use, transit, tourism, and environmental projects working at aI911, one of Mexico’s leading architecture and planning firms, and at Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill in San Francisco. Prior to SvN, from 2019 to 2021, she worked in The National Commission of Water in Mexico focused on ensuring the development and environmental restoration of the project Lake Texcoco Ecological Park. She currently co-leads an Urban Design Workshop at Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City. Her practice and research interests focus on urban projects that can create interesting dialogues towards the city and are committed to improving people’s way of life by targeting complex issues in the urban form.
