Alex Nankivell is a Designer at SvN with four years of professional experience. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Design in Environmental Design from OCAD University. For the past five years Alex has lived and practiced in Sydney, Australia. While in Sydney, Alex worked at both architecture and urban design firms on a range of institutional, interior, and mixed-use projects. Comfortable with conceptual thinking at multiple scales, Alex is adept at translating design principles into built form through diagrams, visualizations, construction details, and drawings. Alex also has a keen interest in the intersection between computation and architecture. In the workplace he has championed parametric solutions to design problems. This interest extends into academia where he has both tutored undergraduate design studios as well undertaking research projects related to computational design.
