SvN Welcomes its Latest Associate: Ibrahim Al-Nemeh

To maintain SvN’s leadership in addressing contemporary urbanism’s challenges and how Toronto fits within a global context of evolving urban issues, we are pleased to announce our latest associate to our team, Ibrahim Al Nemeh. Ibrahim has a background in architecture, urban design and planning. Since 2005, he has worked with both public and private sector clients across the Middle East, Asia and Europe on a range of sophisticated urban development projects. Ibrahim has held senior positions at firms in Dubai, London and Copenhagen, where he has directed and supported the delivery of major international mixed-use master plans, including the NEOM Industrial City, the Qiddiya Entertainment City and the AIJada & Dubai Design District.   SvN asked Ibrahim what he stands out as unique characteristics about Toronto. Unsurprisingly, he noted its people and quality of life. His favourite place in the city? Toronto Island for its ability to offer a natural escape at our city’s doorstep.   And as for the most significant challenges facing contemporary urbanism today? For Ibrahim, it comes down to three issues: the wellbeing of residents and communities, preserving the environment and the ecosystem, and establishing a new paradigm for living, working and commuting.   We look forward to having Ibrahim as part of SvN’s team!
