Emily Rennalls
Associate, Planning
Over the last eight years, Emily has developed a portfolio of plans for campuses, TOCs, heritage districts, downtowns, waterfronts and cultural institutions. As an Associate and Planner, Emily supports her clients in aligning their strategic vision with spatial planning across scales.
Emily is led by the vocation to create equitable, regenerative and entrepreneurial urban environments. Simply put, Emily seeks to shape places where all can thrive and culture abounds. To her, this unfolds when the practice of city-building embraces sustainable design, land economics, user research and community stories of place. Emily brings this lens to her work as a planner, stakeholder engagement specialist and project manager.
Acknowledging that a design outcome is only as good as its ability to be implemented, Emily applies her unique blend of planning, engagement and organizational development experience to navigate complex political and procedural environments and yield buy-in. Her practice has taken her from small Island communities to some of the most significant redevelopment projects in British Columbia.
