SvN is currently updating the expired Intermunicipal Development Plan and developing a Cost and resource-sharing Agreement and an Area Structure Plan that will guide the future growth, regional vision and pattern of development for the County, Alberta Beach and Summer Villages area. The Plan will consider policies for land development, environmental management, recreation opportunities, transportation networks, servicing, infrastructure and utilities, and scenarios for urban growth. SvN will facilitate the dialog between the respective jurisdictions, organize and provide a public engagement and consultation process including stakeholder focus group sessions, multi-stakeholder workshops and open houses.
Lac Ste. Anne County
We apply our thorough understanding of the provincial and municipal regulatory context to develop studies and public policy instruments for local, provincial and federal governments and First Nations. These include: zoning by-laws, official plans, municipal development plans, local official plans, secondary plans, neighbourhood plans, and urban design guidelines.
Our team conducts research and creates strategy for government and non-government clients on a wide range of economic development issues. This includes strengthening, broadening and diversifying the economic base of regions, cities and towns and accelerating development through improvements to land use, urban design, planning policy and governance.
