Port Lands Acceleration Initiative Webcast Posted

Waterfront Toronto and the City of Toronto are nearing completion of a business and implementation plan for the Port Lands Acceleration Initiative. Public input has played a key role in shaping the plan to date.

On August 8, 2012 SvN Principal John van Nostrand was one of three presenters at the fourth and final public meeting for the initiative. The meeting included an overview presentation and facilitated roundtable discussions for participants to provide feedback on the findings, recommendations and business case.

A report on the emerging directions for the future of the Port Lands will go to the City of Toronto’s Executive Committee in September and Toronto City Council in October 2012.
