Maéva is a Planner and Urban Designer with a wide range of international and Canadian experience. She holds a Masters degree in Architecture, specializing in urban design in fast growing cities in developing countries, as well as a Masters degree in Planning.
Maéva built up her expertise in France, Senegal and Brazil, developing notable skill in conducting participatory processes. She also taught urban sociology at the Ecole Nationale d’Architecture de Paris la Villette, focusing on the relationship between human and spatial organization. In Canada, Maéva has worked on policy preparation, planning and urban design rationales and evidence for Ontario Municipal Board hearings, segment studies, and built form impact analyses.
To spice up her urban practice, Maéva is also regularly involved in collaborative, in-situ experimentation and artistic projects that engage with communities and public space.
