Lucy is an urban planner with a background in planning policy, affordable housing, and community
engagement. Her work experience includes projects for both public and private sector clients at a variety of scales, from region-wide initiatives to site-specific analysis. At SvN, Lucy applies her skills across a range of planning and urban design projects, including master planning exercises, official plan and zoning by-law reviews, neighbourhood studies, development applications and due diligence reports. Throughout all her work, Lucy focuses on producing clear and concise information that enables evidenced-based decision making. Her passion for planning lies in supporting the creation of inclusive, diverse, resilient and complete communities.
Lucy holds a Master of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto and Bachelor of Arts from
McGill University, where her research has focused on investigating ‘missing middle’ housing and planning for community services and facilities in rapidly-densifying neighbourhoods. Lucy is currently a Pre-Candidate Member of the Ontario Professional Planning Institute (OPPI) and the Canadian Institute of Planning (CIP) and is working towards full membership.
