Barbara Myers is an urban planner with SvN in Toronto. She has 35 years of planning experience and is a graduate of Queen’s University and the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Architecture, Master of City Planning. Her work includes feasibility studies, functional programs and operational plans for clients in the cultural and environmental fields. Barbara chaired the Environment Committee for the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg and has served on the Canada Green Buildings Council and the Manitoba Environmental Council. Barbara also served on the Content Advisory Committee for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, which opened in Winnipeg in 2014. She is currently the Chair of the Editorial Board of Plan Canada, for the Canadian Institute of Planners.
