Aziza is an intern architect working on significant SvN projects, including office and lab spaces for global beauty products company DECIEM, the mixed-use mobility hub Weston Park Development, innovative residential projects, and the Poplar Regional Health and Wellness Village. Before joining SvN, she gained experience working on designing bespoke infill houses in Toronto and contributing to the research, production and implementation of parametric concrete formworks at MBE Labs at Dalhousie University. Aziza received a Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University. Her thesis focused on the evolution of spaces of power and memory in post-Soviet Uzbekistan from an urban design and architectural perspective, reflecting on the erasure and replacement of its collective memory through the destruction of the city fabric and abstraction of traditional architectural forms in a post-Soviet “Orient.”
