Liana is a Principal at SvN with proven leadership experience designing community centres, affordable housing, libraries, and notable institutional projects. She is an effective leader who guides new construction and complex renovations at all scales and through every phase. Liana is currently co-leading the integrated transit-oriented development team on the Ontario Line as the technical advisor to Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario, as well as being the Principal-in-charge for the Bob Rumball Centre Group Home for Deaf Youth, among other projects. Other projects include a City of Toronto community centre and daycare facility located at the base of an energy retrofit for a high-rise residential tower with Toronto Community Housing. Before joining SvN, she was an associate with LGA Architectural Partners in Toronto and worked for several award-winning firms in Toronto, New York and Barcelona. Liana continues her involvement with the academic world as a guest critic with the University of Toronto and OCAD University, and as a sessional adjunct faculty with the University of Waterloo where she received her graduate degree and an Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) Award in the concepts and presentations category.
