Drew Sinclair to speak at CHRA Congress

SvN Principal Drew Sinclair has been invited to speak at the 47th National Congress on Housing & Homelessness to be hosted by The Canadian Housing and Renewal Association from April 28 – May 1, 2015. This year’s event will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

On April 29 at 11 am, Drew and three other experts will speak on innovative affordable home ownership initiatives. Three affordable homeownership programs from different jurisdictions which have helped families access homeownership – increasing their housing stability and freeing up rental units for other households – will be highlighted in this workshop.

The Canadian Housing and Renewal Association advocates on behalf of members for improvements in affordable housing and the elimination of homelessness. The Congress is a unique annual gathering of the housing sector, providing a respected forum for sharing ideas, program innovations, learnings and interests. The CHRA Congress moves from city to city each year, in order to cover the country and give more local housing sector organizations a chance to participate.

The 47th National Congress on Housing & Homelessness will be held at the Radisson Winnipeg Downtown at 288 Portage Ave from April 28 – May 1, 2015.
